We carry a wide range of landing nets in store most of which are McLean landing nets. McLean Angling is a privately owned company located in New Zealand, specialising in the manufacture of landing nets. McLean began making nets in 1987, when they invented the worlds first catch and release Weigh Net. Since then there range of nets has expanded to include many different styles from small brook trout to large salmon which are sold and used all around the world. All manufacturing is undertaken in New Zealand where we focus on quality, durability and accuracy. Below are a few of our most popular.

McLean Fixed Handle Weigh Net

These robust nets have been designed to measure your success in the most convenient way. Weighing your catch without handling the fish. When not in use the weighing scale is secured and concealed inside the handle. Built from corrosion resistant materials these nets feature Weigh scale measures to 14lb (6.5kg). Thick wall aluminium tubing, finished in bronze, rubber non slip grip, large soft woven nylon knotless net bags or micro mesh option. Available in three sizes.

McLean Saltwater Sliding Block Net

Model 700 features an extending telescopic handle for maximum reach, which also slides away for compact stowage. made of tough anodised silver aluminium that will stay looking great for years to come. Ideal snapper net.

McLean Salmon Weigh Net

Pear shaped sturdy fixed frame net with bronze anodised finish. Rubber grip handle and in-built weighing scales to 50lb. Telescopic handle extends from 8” to 40”. Overall length extends from 33” to 65”. Maximum net opening 25”. Built-in adjustable sling. Knotless mesh. Also available in a non weigh net.
